Network Technician at Pos Malaysia

Responsibilities:

Monitor and assist Network Engineer in maintaining corporate LANs, routers, switches and other network equipment.
Troubleshoot and assist users to perform any remediation steps necessary when problems are reported to ICT.
Record, document and log all problems
Escalate problems to senior staff and TM 1060.
Install, terminate, crimp and certify network cable.
Provide network assistance to all users
Other official network duties as assigned by Network Engineer.


Requirements:

Certification from Malaysian Polytecnic or equivalent.
1 to 2 years hand-on experience with Ethernet networks
Understanding of VLAN
Basic working Knowledge of Cisco Routers and 3Com Switches.
Basic TCP/IP Knowledge
Basic cabling knowledge
Highly self motivated
